class: ExportingCSV
- class ExportingCSV(**kwargs)[source]
- Options for exporting data to CSV or Microsoft Excel, or displaying the data in a HTML table or a JavaScript structure. - This module adds data export options to the export menu and provides JavaScript functions like - Chart.getCSV(),- Chart.getTable(),- Chart.getDataRows(), and- Chart.viewData().- Warning - The XLS converter is limited and only creates a HTML string that is passed for download, which works but creates a warning before opening. The workaround for this is to use a third party XLSX converter. - Class Inheritance - copy(other=None, overwrite=True, **kwargs)
- Copy the configuration settings from this instance to the - otherinstance.- Parameters:
- other ( - HighchartsMeta) – The target instance to which the properties of this instance should be copied. If- None, will create a new instance and populate it with properties copied from- self. Defaults to- None.
- overwrite ( - bool) – if- True, properties in- otherthat are already set will be overwritten by their counterparts in- self. Defaults to- True.
- kwargs – Additional keyword arguments. Some special descendents of - HighchartsMetamay have special implementations of this method which rely on additional keyword arguments.

- Construct an instance of the class from a - dictobject.

- Return a Python object representation of a Highcharts JavaScript object literal. - Parameters:
- as_str_or_file ( - str) – The JavaScript object literal, represented either as a- stror as a filename which contains the JS object literal.
- allow_snake_case ( - bool) – If- True, interprets- snake_casekeys as equivalent to- camelCasekeys. Defaults to- True.

- Generate a - dictrepresentation of the object compatible with the Highcharts JavaScript library.- Note - The - dictrepresentation has a property structure and naming convention that is intentionally consistent with the Highcharts JavaScript library. This is not Pythonic, but it makes managing the interplay between the two languages much, much simpler.

- Return the object represented as a - strcontaining the JavaScript object literal.
 - to_json(filename=None, encoding='utf-8')
- Generate a JSON string/byte string representation of the object compatible with the Highcharts JavaScript library. - Note - This method will either return a standard - stror a- bytesobject depending on the JSON serialization library you are using. For example, if your environment has orjson, the result will be a- bytesrepresentation of the string.- Parameters:

- A JSON representation of the object compatible with the Highcharts library.

- JavaScript formatter callback function for the column headers. - The parameters received by the callback function are: - item- The series or axis object
- key- The point key, for example y or z
- keyLength- The amount of value keys for this item, for example a range series has the keys low and high so the key length is 2.
 - If - Exporting.use_multi_level_headersis- True, the JavaScript function should by default return an object with- columnTitleand- topLevelColumnTitlefor each key. Columns with the same- topLevelColumnTitlehave their titles merged into a single cell with- colspanfor table/Excel export.- If - Exporting.use_multi_level_headersis- False, or for CSV export, it should return the series name, followed by the key if there is more than one key.- For the axis, it returns the axis title or “Category” or “DateTime” by default. - To use Highcharts’ automatically-suggested header, the callback function should return - False.- Return type:

- The date format to apply to exported dates on a datetime axis. Defaults to - '%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S'.

- Decimal point to use for exported CSV. Defaults to the same as the browser locale, typically - '.'(English) or- ','(German, French, etc).- Returns either a string value, or an - EnforcedNullinstance.
 - property item_delimiter: EnforcedNullType | str | None
- The item delimiter in the exported data. - Use - ';'for direct exporting to Excel. If- EnforcedNull, defaults to a best guess based on the browser locale. If the locale decimal point is- ',', defaults to- ';'. Otherwise, the delimiter defaults to- ','.- Returns either a string value, or an - EnforcedNullinstance.
